Lecture on space technology held
Eluru: A guest lecture on ‘Recent trends in space technology and navigation aids for aviation’ was held at Sir CRR Engineering College here on Friday.
Dr Ch Mahesh, senior manager at Hyderabad International Airport Ltd, was the chief guest. The programme was organised to benefit students of M Tech and B Tech third and final year.
A student of 1998 batch of the college, Dr Mahesh dwelt on GPS, signal processing, machine learning, artificial learning and other subjects during his guest lecture. He explained the significance of these aspects in airport.
He briefed the students about the special features of airports authority, Hyderabad. He also enlightened the students on the importance of ECE branch students in the airport authority.
The CRR educational institutions president, Kommareddy Rambabu and secretary NVK Durga Rao participated in the lecture as honorary guests.
The college principal, Dr G Sambasiva Rao, ECE department head Dr T Venkateswara Rao and others also present.
