Chhattisgarh beat Saurashtra in women’s one-day league match

Vijayawada: As part of the ongoing BCCI Senior Women group-A one-day league matches at Mulapadu and Guntur, three matches were played on Monday.

The first match was played at Chukkapalli Pitchiah Cricket Ground at Mulapadu  between Chhattisgarh and Saurashtra teams and Chattisgarh team won the match by 50 runs.

Earlier, the Chattisgarh team won the toss and opted to bat first and scored 170 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 50 overs. In reply, Saurashtra team could score only 120 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 50 overs.

In the second match played at Devineni Venkata Ramana Praneetha Ground at Mulapadu, the Haryana team played against Punjab team and Punjab team won the match. Batting first the Haryana team scored 140 runs and were all out in 44.3 overs. In reply, Punjab team scored 141 runs with a loss of 5 wickets in 41.2 overs and won the match.
