RMC officials inspect sanitation works

  Rajamahendravaram: Rajamahendravaram Municipal Corporation (RMC) manager CH Srinivasa Rao has directed sanitation wing officials to maintain sanitation works properly in the divisions.

He along with sanitation wing officials inspected the ongoing works at Tummalova and Sambasivaraopeta of 35th division here on Monday.

Later, he directed the sanitary supervisor to clear the silt in the main drain of Tummalova and Samabsivaraopeta immediately, as the drain water was stagnated posing problems to the people there.

The residents of 35th division were complaining that the sanitation staff was not clearing silt properly, he informed. The corporation was putting its efforts to get good rank in Swachha Sarvekshan programme and underlined the need to maintain sanitation properly.

Meanwhile, corporation additional commissioner NVV Satyanarayana Rao also inspected sanitation works at Fort Gate.
