Extend Rs 200 cr to industrial units, bankers urged
Kakinada: Joint Collector A Mallikarjuna has asked the bankers to extend a financial assistance of Rs 200 crore to micro, small and medium scale industries in the district.
Participating in District Industrial Promotion Committee meeting, he said Industries department would be conducting a conclave on December 13 for micro, small and medium scale units. He directed the officials to initiate steps to send about 500 budding entrepreneurs to the conclave.
He also directed the general manager of District Industries Centre (DIC) and Lead Bank Manager (LDM) to conduct meeting with bankers to discuss about this issue. As many as 445 units would be allotted in the industrial parks located at Jegurupadu, Vemulapalli and RB Patnam.
Interested entrepreneurs can apply for the flats.
DIC general manager AV Patel, deputy director David Sundar Kumar, LDM Subramanyam and others were present.
