TTD plans to widen stretch of first ghat road

Tirupati: TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal directed the engineering officials to prepare action plan to widen the pedestrian road from Mokalimettu to Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple on the first Ghat road, to enhance the safety of the devotees trekking the hills on foot to reach Tirumala.

During a review meeting held at TTD Administrative Building in Tirupati on Monday, he said that the works should be taken up at the earliest. 
The pedestrian pilgrims have to walk about a km on the road (first Ghat road) before reaching Mokalimettu from where the foot path resume and it ends at Lakshi Narasimha Swamy temple.

EO also directed the officials to take up the development of SV Museum works in a phased manner in Tirumala. He later directed them complete the construction of pilgrims amenities complex within two months in Tiruchanoor. And also to develop the parking facility in Govinda raja Swamy temple in Tirupati on time. JEOs  KS Sreenivasa Raju, P Bhaskar, CVSO  Gopinath Jetti and other officials were also present.
