Techspark-2K18 held at Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala

Vijayawada: As many as 273 students from various colleges in Krishna district participated in the Techspark-2K18 organised by the Department of Computers of Sri Durgamalleswara Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala here on Tuesday.

Sri Krishna Seelam, director of APNRTS, addressing the students said that Techspark is being conducted for the last five years to bring out the latent talent among the students. 

Such programmes would enhance the leadership qualities, entrepreneurship and initiative among them, he added.

P Abhilash, chief finance officer of AP NRTS also participated.

Eleven events were conducted in the Techspark including Movie Quiz, Dazzle ‘C’, Code Hunt, whistle singing, cooking junkies, quizzee beebuzz, T-shirt design, collage, poster presentation, Techno PPT and e-craft model.

The college director Dr T Vijayalakshmi, addressing the students said that computer has wider application in society and such programmes would help the students to learn new trends. 

“They would also learn how to overcome the problems they face in regular day-today life,” she added.

Principal Dr M Nalini said that technology field was not limited to Vijayawada city and everyone should learn new innovations in this computer age.

Rights Computers head Syed Basha, Dimensions director K Sandeep and Kanakadurga Finance managing director S Lakshminarayana distributed prizes to the winners in the eleven events.

Computer department head K Anitha, the members of faculty and students participated.
