Tirupati IISER, Chennai SRIHER sign MoU

Tirupati: Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Tirupati has signed an MoU with Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (SRIHER), Chennai with the main objective of collaborating and cooperating with each other to enhance the quality of teaching, training and research activities. 

IISER Tirupati Director Prof KN Ganesh and Professor of Eminence and Dean (Research) Dr SP Thyagarajan of SRIHER signed and exchanged the MoU at a meeting held in Chennai on Monday.

This will also facilitate for exchange of students and researchers of one institution with the other institution. It will provide opportunities for both faculty members and students to use the expertise and facilities available in both institutions through training of students/staff and through seminars, workshops and conferences.

Both the institutes can share clinical samples and know-how and related clinical expertise available at SRIHER with IISER under mutually agreed framework. Also, research infrastructure and expertise available at IISER can be shared with SRIHER.

Both the institutes can jointly publish research papers in reputed international journals. With the MoU they can work jointly for the common research interest at national and international level which includes preparation of research proposals and their implementation. It supports the exchange of academic and training material including access to library and other digital resources of each other.
