APSSDC to develop skills of beneficiaries
Vijayawada: APSSDC is poised to start a training programme from December 10 to develop skills among the beneficiaries of Mukhyamantri Yuvanestham and make them job worthy.
As many as 555 training centres were organised in various junior, degree and engineering colleges across the State to this effect. Apart from the required infrastructure, trainers shall also be available to train the beneficiaries. Regional workshops are being conducted to create awareness on 3rd, 5th and 6th of December at Tirupati, Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada respectively.
MD and CEO of the APSSDC Sambasiva Rao said that the beneficiaries need to register and apply in the Employability Skills Enhancement Development (ESEM) module in the Yuvanestham website developed by Real Time Governance (RTG).
In addition to the skills that make them job worthy, special focus is also being laid to develop their communication skills. The training duration of the programme is for two weeks, which is 40 hours.
Based on the feedback from the applicants who undergo the training programme, the training programme would be further improvised, he said and appealed to all the unemployed youth to make use of this initiative launched by the State government which is one of its kind in the country.
