Notices served seeking removal of unauthorised hoardings

Tirupati: Former Speaker Agarala Eswara Reddi has issued a legal notice to the officials seeking for the removal of all unauthorised flexies, hoarding, cut-outs and publicity boards in the city within ten days. 

Reddi said as a senior citizen and a person having social consciousness, he preferred the notice to bring to the notice of the officials on the blatant violation of law and disregard to the orders passed by High Court of AP and Telangana and various other High Courts and also Supreme Court of India, with regard to the problem of unauthorised hoardings and flexies. 

In the notices sent to District Collector, SPs of Tirupati Urban and Chittoor, all three Sub-Collectors, District Panchayat Officer and ZP CEO, he called upon the officials to take immediate steps to check such unauthorised publicity boards and advertisements. 

In case, no such action is not taken within ten day of receipt of the notice, Reddi said that he will be constrained to prefer appropriate writ application to enforce compliance of the various court orders in the interests of the general public.
