Sports will help one stay healthy: Malakondaiah

Guntur: Former DGP M Malakondaiah has said that sports are part of the life. He attended for Vignan Mahotsav Sambaralu started on the university premises on Friday.

Speaking on this occasion, he said that over 2,000 players participated in the programme from various universities in various states.

He said that sports would keep one away from diseases like blood pressure, diabetes and added that those who participate in the sports would be active and enjoy good health. He stressed on significance of physical exercises and sports in the life. 

Armed Reserve DSP (Guntur rural) Satyanarayana said that those who participate in the sports would enjoy sound health and added that those who excel in the sports would shine in other fields also. 

International weightlifter and IT officer Sai Revati said that sports would bring recognition to the players. 

Vignan Group chairman  Dr Lavu Rathaiah, Vignan University vice-chancellor MYS Prasad were among those participated.
