AP Panchayat Raj diploma engineers threaten pen-down, strike
Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Diploma Engineers Association (APPRDEA) took out a a rally on Sunday demanding the government solve their problems and fulfil the promises made to them.
The rally started at Krishnaveni school road and reached to SVS function hall passing via Patamata. The programme was organised to mark the 41st anniversary of the formation of APPRDEA and was led by the association president Shaik Riyaz Ahmed.
Addressing on the occasion, Riyaz said that a general body meeting held on Sunday decided to go on strike from December 16 if their problems are not solved. He further said they would participated in Pen Down from December 12 as part of their struggle.
A book was released on the occasion with GOs and service rules by Paruchuri Ashok Babu, president, AP NGOs association. PR Diploma Engineers association leaders R Venkateswara Rao and others were present.
