Air Chief Marshal oversees missile launch

Visakhapatnam: Air Chief Marshal and Chief of Air staff, Birender Singh Dhanoa arrived at Air Force Station Suryalankla on Friday for a two-day visit to witness the combined guided weapons firing exercise of Surface to Air Missiles (Exercise Cross Bow–18).
He was received by Air Marshal B Suresh, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Air Command Captain RM Kumaraswamy, Station Commander, Air Force Station of Suryalanka.
For the first time these exercises were undertaken by the Indian Air Force in which firing of four different class of missiles Akash, Spyder, Osa-AK-M and IGLA was successfully carried out on December 5, 7 and 8 during day and night in an integrated networked environment.
