APSPDCL staff wins first prize in Saubhagya jingle competition

Visakhapatnam: Muvvala Lakshmana Rao, Divisional Engineer, Projects-1, APEPDCL, Corporate Office, won first prize at all-India level Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana Saubhagya Jingle Competition.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced one of the largest electrification schemes benefiting approximately four crore households in India. The scheme will helpful in achieving electrification of rural and urban households in India. In order to spread and promote the scheme and to involve public as ambassadors of this programme, a jingle competition was organised at all India level by REC Limited, New Delhi.

Muvvala Lakshmana Rao, had participated in Jingle Competition, and won first prize for his video made on the Impact of Electrification in Nation building.

H Y Dora, Chairman and  Managing Director handed over the prized money of Rs 50,000 and award received from REC Limited New Delhi to Lakshmana Rao. Dora and B Seshu Kumar, Director (Operation and Projects) congratulated Lakshmana Rao on his appreciable winning of first prize in competition.
