Public Relations Society of India Vizag receives Best Chapter Award
Visakhapatnam: Public Relations Society of India (PRSI), Visakhapatnam Chapter has been adjudged as the Best Chapter in organising programmes among all the 22 chapters across the country.
The award was presented at the 40th All India Public Relations Conference during the Valedictory ceremony held at Dehradun, Uttarakhand on Monday. The theme of the conference was ‘Himalaya to Ganga:Pride of The Nation - converting challenges to opportunities through effective public relations.’
Baby Rani Maurya, Governor of Uttarakhand, Prakash Pant, Minister for Finance presented a memento to PLK Murthy, Chapter Chairman, U S Sarma, National Vice-President (South), B V Vijay Prasad, Vice-Chairman, B R Vikram Kumar, secretary, A Govinda Rao, treasurer, M K V L Narasimham (Kali), joint secretary, VS Pushkar, Paul Nicodemus, M S Subramaniam, S Viswateja and Raghvendra Mishra were received the award.
The conference focused on various Public Relations and Communication aspects of the following issues: ‘Himalaya: Guarding the Nation’, ‘Holy Ganga: The Lifeline of India’, ‘Indian Traditions and Values’, ‘Science and Technology’, ‘Concern for Environment’, ‘Traditional Knowledge’, ‘Opportunities in Power Sector’, ‘Tourism Production: Challenges and Opportunities’ and ‘Opportunities for Youth’.
