Speaking on this occasion, Lakshminarayana said that TRS got huge majority in the Assembly elections with the anti-Chandrababu Naidu votes. He criticized that TDP leaders are looting the state and warned that BJP would not spare anybody involved in the illegal sand quarrying, minerals mining and who committed irregularities.

He accused the ruling party MLAs of indulging in sand quarrying, minor mines and land grabbing activities. “Chandrababu Naidu has done nothing to the state in the last four-and-a-hal years.  Though Centre is extending  cooperation for the development of Andhra Pradesh, the Chief minister has done nothing but is blaming the Centre for gaining a political mileage,” the state BJP chief said.

He explained the schemes being implemented by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the welfare of poor and funds released by the Centre for the development of AP. Making it clear that the government led by Modi was committed to the welfare of Andhra Pradesh, he assured that the Prime Minister would keep his promises and urged the people to support BJP for the development of Andhra Pradesh. To a question, he said the Centre would sanction a separate railway zone to Andhra Pradesh.
