Srikakulam: People of Telangana outrightly rejected the unethical alliance of the Congress and TDP, said YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy here on Tuesday. Addressing a public meeting at Amudalavalasa as part of his Praja Sankalpa Yatra, he came down heavily on Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for his cheap political tricks.

He pointed out that Naidu maintained friendship with BJP for four years for his political benefit and after he severed ties with the ruling party at the Centre, he had forged an “immoral” alliance with the Congress. Jagan wondered how Naidu who had criticised the Congress for over three decades, had joined hands with the same party now.

He said the people in Telangana State had rejected the unethical alliance of the two parties and taught them a befitting lesson. Jagan termed Lagadapati’s survey as farce and said it was prepared by Chandrababu Naidu and his favourable yellow media.

The YSRCP chief assured to re-open sugar factory at Amudalavalasa which was closed 10 years ago. He alleged that the local TDP leaders were involved in illegal transport of sand. He said the sand mafia was earning huge money in the area with the support of local TDP leaders.

Earlier during the day, contract and outsourced employees complained to Jagan that the TDP government had failed to fulfil its assurance of regularising their services.  Nursing staff working in tribal areas also explained their problems to YS Jagan and they said that they are being denied payment of Agency allowances by the government.
