YS Jaganmohan Reddy promises justice to Vamsadhara evacuees
Srikakulam: Displaced people of Vamsadhara river project complained about raw deal meted out to them to YSRCP chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy during his Praja Sankalpa yatra in Amudalavalsa mandal on Wednesday.
People who lost their farm fields and houses for Vamsadhara project explained about meagre compensation paid to them by the government for their valuable and fertile lands. Jagan assured to do justice to them once his party voted to power.
Physically challenged candidates lodged their grievances with Jagan as they have lost job opportunities due to officials’ manipulations in preparation of reservation lists for their quota. People of Kalinga and Komati castes met Jagan and appealed him to announce separate corporations for their development.
Jagan assured to form two separate corporations to them. Residents of Amudalavalasa town and its surrounding areas complained to Jagan on harassment of municipal town planning officials and demanding bribe from them despite they were following rules strictly in construction of houses and buildings.
