ESL Narasimhan inspects arrangements for smooth conduct of festival
Tirumala: Governor of twin Telugu States ESL Narasimhan on Monday inspected the arrangements made by the TTD for the sake of multitude of devotees who are coming to Tirumala for Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan on Tuesday.
He inspected Narayanagiri queue lines where the TTD has constructed sheds to provide Anna Prasadam, drinking water and other facilities to pilgrims. He even tasted upma which was served to devotees waiting in sheds and interacted with them. Pilgrims expressed their immense satisfaction over the arrangements by the TTD.
Later speaking to mediapersons, the Governor said the TTD has made elaborate arrangements for Vaikuntha Ekadasi as huge turnout of pilgrims is expected to have darshan of the presiding deity at Tirumala on the occasion of Vaikuntha Ekadasi.
"I appeal to all pilgrims to remain with patience till their turn for darshanam and cooperate with TTD so that everyone will have Vaikuntha Dwara Darshanam.
The officials of TTD have made excellent arrangements to shield the pilgrims from inclement weather conditions by constructing sheds in Narayanagiri Gardens and Mada streets,” he maintained. CVSO Gopinath Jetti, ACVSO Siva Kumar Reddy, temple Dy EO Harindranath and others were also present.
