Tejraj Solanki felicitated for service activities

Vijayawada: For extending support to develop Lions Eye Hospital and for organising various service activities, Tejraj Solanki, owner of Team Traders here was honoured with ‘Anmol Sewa Ratna’ award here on Sunday evening. 

Lions Club Krishna district Governor A Koti Reddy presented the award to Solanki at a programme organised by Lions Club of Vijayawada East.

Speaking on the occasion Kotireddy said that Solanki would be an inspiration to the young generations for his service to the society. He has not only organised various service activities to benefit the people but also had given donations to the needy and poor. 

Besides organising various service oriented programmes, he has encouraged and motivated many a people to extend their support to serve the society.

PC Prasad, first district Vice-Governor and PV Satish Kumar second district Vice-Governor expressed happiness to be part of the award function. They said that Solanki’s role in performing about 12,000 eye surgeries at Lions' Eye Hospital was commendable.

Solanki said that as a responsible citizen he has done the service activities and after receiving this award his responsibility has doubled, he added. He was garlanded on the occasion and a memento was handed over on the occasion.

Lions Eye Hospital chairman B Hunumaiah, N Brahmanandam, D Raghuram, JV Subramanyam, B Venkata Subbiah and others were present.
