Gold worth of 23L looted in train

Vizianagaram: Some unidentified burglars  looted a family which was travelling in a train and decamped with the gold ornaments worth of Rs.23 lakhs.

Police informed that P Suryanarayana of Chellur village in East Godavari district is a railway contractor by profession went to attend an engagement function held in Odisha recently along with his family members.

They were retuning  to their native district by Bokaro-Aleppy express. The family found that their suitcases containing 770 grams of gold went missing between Titlagarh and Rayagada of Odisha state.
