Guntur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit AP for the first time after TDP’s exit from the NDA to address a massive public meeting at Budampadu in Guntur city on January 6.

This was disclosed by BJP State president Kanna Lakshminarayana.  Addressing a press conference at his residence in Guntur city on Tuesday, Kanna Lakshminarayana said that they were making arrangements in a big way to make Modi’s public meeting a grand success.

He further said that though the Centre was releasing funds for the development of the State, Chandrababu Naidu was misleading the people and making false propaganda against the Centre for gaining political mileage.

He alleged that Naidu was spending the illegally earned money from AgriGold scam and spending the same in the elections. He said the voters would teach a lesson to the TDP in the coming general elections in the State. He further said that backstabbing was a habit for Chandrababu Naidu and alleged that the latter had committed irregularities in the execution of Polavaram Project works.

He also alleged that the State government was not submitting utilisation certificates for the funds released by the Centre. Later, former Union Minister Daggubati Purandeswari, MLC Somu Veerraju, BJP leader Ravindraraju and Guntur urban  unit president Ammisetty Anjaneyulu visited the place where Modi will address the public meeting and gave their suggestions on the arrangements to be made for the mega meeting.
