Former CM Kiran Kumar to open RIS

Rajamahendravaram: Rajamahendri International School (RIS) is coming up with a new concept in the historical city and former Chief Minister Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy will open the school at Bommuru-Kesavaram road.

Speaking to Hans India, Rajamahendrari Educational Institutions (REI) chairman TK Visweswara Reddy said that the school offers both ancient Gurukulam system and modern education system, which is first of its kind.

RIS is carved to provide education from KG to PG courses in REI and admissions allowed from KG to 6th standard in the first phase with a student capacity of 40 in each class and admissions will commence on December 21st.

Usage of paper will be minimised and the the progress of the students progress will be sent every day to their parents through email or WhatsApp and the parents should have a computer or a laptop. If necessary the school staff will go to the houses of students and guide them on how to use computer or laptop.

Digital classrooms and digital library are other attractions of the school. The school management also provides transportation to the student in air-conditioned buses, he said.

From 8 am. to 8.30 am. Yoga and Pranayamam will be practicised to the students, followed by teaching of our tradition, culture, epics and others from 8.30 a.m. to 9.30 a.m. Modern education classes commence from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 noon and 1 p.m. to 3.45 p.m. 

Later, from 3.45 p.m. to 5 p.m. the students are allowed to spend time in their interested fields such as sports, games, horse riding and swimming. TKV Reddy averred.
