Speed up Vice-Chancellors appointment process: Ganta Srinivas Rao to officials

Amaravati: Minister for Human Resource Development Ganta Srinivas Rao directed the officials to complete the procedure for appointment of Vice-Chancellors to various universities in the State. The Minister gave the instructions while addressing a review meeting at Secretariat here on Thursday.

In the meeting, he also reviewed the issues including minimum wages to contract employees, notifications for vacant Assistant Professors, DSC notifications and other issues.

He directed the authorities to ensure commencement of classes at the newly formed university in Prakasam district. He also asked them to start the civil works for construction of the buildings and other infrastructure in the university immediately. Officials of School Education department, higher education department and other departments participated.
