Three Maoists surrender in Visakha district

Visakhapatnam: Two CPM Peddabailu area committee dalam members along with Galikonda area committee militia member was surrendered voluntarily before OSD B Krishna Rao at Visakha district police here on Wednesday.

According to the police, the surrendered were identified as Vantala Sailu alias Dhar, working as dalam member for Peddabailu area committee. She had worked for dalam since 2008-2014 as militia member and became dalam member.

While she was in dalam, Sailu was given 303 and 12 fire arm weapons. She was involved in three murder cases which were took place during 2014 at G Madugula, Killamkota and she took part in killing of two others at Dagudupalli, Singavaram of Odisha district and participated in encounters at Kundram and Gudem Kotthaveedi.

Pangi Chelliya alias Dharma Rao alias Abbi is worked for Peddabailu area committee as militia and dalam member during 2012-18. He was involved in two murders which were took place in 2017 and 2018 at Munchingiputta and G Madugula areas. He used to handle 303 rifle and participated in two encounters in 2015 and 2016 at Orrisa and land mine blasting case at Nanubarri near Peddabailu area during 2017.

Pangi Prasad alias Kamesh is worked as militia member for Galikonda area committee since 2006 to 2017 and involved murder case at Gudem Kotthaveedi. He had also participated in an encounter during 2014 at Kottagudem. He has been very active in communicating with Maoists about police movement at Agency and took active role during attacks on innocent tribals.
