New office building for VRO inaugurated at Chedurtipadu

Gudivada: RDO GV Satyavani along with Tahsildar Srinivas Naik inaugurated the new office building for the VRO in Chedurtipadu village in Nandivada mandal on Thursday.

Addressing the gathering, the RDO said that the State government would construct office buildings in all the villages throughout the State to provide better administration to the people. She said that the office building was constructed at a cost of Rs 4 lakh.

The RDO announced that the VRO office buildings were sanctioned to Puttagunta, Ilaparru and Anamanapudi villages and theywould be constructed soon.

She assured the farmers who suffered loss due to Cyclone Phethai with the government help as per guidelines and they need not get disheartened.

She said that the official teams have been enumerating the loss suffered by the farmers as per the directions of District Collector B Lakshmikantam.

The RDO instructed the officials to keep open paddy purchasing centres round the clock to purchase paddy brought by the farmers.

Later, she visited the school in the village and interacted with the students. She enquired the students whether they were serving midday meal as per the menu.

Mandal special officer Srimannarayana, MDO Venkateswara Reddy, EORD Nagi Reddy, market yard chairman Rama Sastri, MPP Putti Sriramamma, MEO Subhash Chandra Bose and other people’s representatives were present.
