TDP government is neglecting BCs: YSRCP
Ongole: The Prakasam district unit of the YSR Congress Party demanded the government to implement all promises made to the BCs in the state.
The YSRCP leaders organised a bike rally from the party office to the collectorate in Ongole and protested in front of it on Thursday morning and submitted a representation to the additional joint collector D Markandeyulu.
The Markapuram MLA Janke Venkatareddy said that the TDP has made 110 promises before the election but didn’t fulfilled at least one.
He questioned the TDP that as their government didn’t allocated at least a quarter of the promised Rs 10000 crores dedicated budget to the BCs, who will believe their statement of announcing a sub plan with Rs 80000 crore.
He questioned the TDP why didn’t they fulfilled the promise of offering one third of positions in corporations and market yards to BCs. He asked them what stopped the government to implement the 33.3 percent reservation to BCs in jobs and education.
The other leaders also questioned the failure of the government in implementing many promises related to the weavers, yadavs, farmers etc.
The Kanigiri and Kondapi YSRCP coordinators Burra Madhusudan Yadav, Madasu Venkaiah, BC committee member Avvaru Musalaiah, Ongole YSRCP president Singaraju Venkata Rao and others also participated in the programme.
