TRS fans stage dharna against Telangana police
Visakhapatnam: The fans and followers of Telangana Rashtra Samithi staged a dharna after they faced bad experience with Telangana special police when they tried to interact with Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at Sarada Peetham near Chinnamushidivada in Pendurthy on Sunday.
An argument broke out between the TRS fans from Kakinada and some other parts of AP who tried to enter Sarada peetham where KCR was performing puja to Goddess Rajashyamala Devi.
The incident took place after Telangana police denied permission to TRS fans and followers to meet KCR and to present a photo-frame of Annavaram Lord Sri Satyanarayana Swamy to him. The followers lamented that they all prayed Lord Sri Satyanarayana Swamy for victory of KCR in Telangana in the recent Assembly elections. Later Andhra police intervened and forcibly lifted the fans from the spot.
Before KCR arriving to the Sarada peetham, the entire ashramam and its surroundings were taken into the security fold of Telangana special police. Even the Andhra police and media were denied entering the peetham by the Telangana police during the puja offered by KCR.
Many TRS fans and followers who installed banners and flags for their beloved leader, were turned back with dissatisfaction due to highhandedness of Telangana police. The AP police also became helpless as the special Telangana police took complete control of the security.
