Strive to bring party to power: MP CM Ramesh to TDP men
Kadapa: Rajya Sabha member CM Ramesh has urged the party activists to work hard to bring TDP to power in 2019 general elections. TDP coming to power in the State is essential for continuation of several projects like constriction of capital city, interlinking of rivers, completion of Polavaram project, implementation of welfare schemes and for developmental activities, he stressed.
Addressing at party functionaries meeting at Jammalamadugu town on Tuesday, he said though Central government ignored to establish the steel plant, Chief Minister is committed to start the plant with the aim of providing jobs to the thousands of local youth.
He said that opposition parties hatching conspiracy to restrict the establishment of steel plant as they are planning to restore the ‘Brahmani Steels’ which had become defunct due to various reasons, Ramesh stated.
He said Chandrababu Naidu was responsible in bringing water to Kadapa district by completing Gandikota Reservoir. He said under these circumstances, party functionaries should play crucial role to lead party to victory in polls. Government is contemplating to construct port at Ramayapatnam in Prakasam district, he added.
Jammalamadugu former MLA P Ramasubba Reddy urged that party activists to extend their support to the government for continuation of welfare programmes and developmental schemes. He said that Chief Minister is laying foundation stone for the establishment of steel plant in Kambala Dinne village on 27thDecember.
Party leaders Giridhar Reddy, Ramana Reddy, CM Suresh Naidu and others were present. Meanwhile in view of chief minister visit, district collector CH.Harikiran along with SP Abhi Sheak Mohanthy inspected the arrangements in Kambala Dinne village on Tuesday.
