1 dies, 6 hurt as car rams road roller

Vijayawada: One person died and six others injured when a speeding car rammed a road roller on the outskirts of Kanchikacharla, Krishna district on Thursday. According to Kanchikacharla police, the victim has been identified as P Ganesh,25.
The speeding car in which they were travelling rammed a road roller due to poor visibility on the road. As a result, the front portion of the car was damaged badly in the mishap.
The passengers were travelling from Hyderabad to Vijayawada to attend a personal work in Quails vehicle. The injured were treated in a hospital in Nandigama. Kanchikacharla police registered a case.
