Nellore: Former Minister Adala Prabhakar Reddy criticised that the city and rural MLAs were creating unnecessary allegations on the ruling party only due to fear of defeat in the elections. He visited 12th division in city on Wednesday along with NUDA Chairman, Mayor and others.

He said to media persons that the MLAs  are giving warnings to the contractors alleging low quality in the works in the division. He said people would teach them lesson in the coming elections if they follow such practices.

“The opposition MLAs were in panic only due to insecurity and they know that they are going to lose the polls. Huge development is taking place in the district, but still they are creating needless hullaballoo to draw the attention of the public. This trick would not fetch them votes as people know well what fact is and what a drama is,” said Prabhakar Reddy.

He said the government has been constructing houses for the poor in the district, giving support for housing for those who are having house sites and laying CC roads in all areas.

He also said they were arranging LED bulbs in rural areas, toilets, gas connections and many other facilities for the poor and middle class. Now, Rs. 2,000 crore is being spent in Nellore city for its development, he added. Chairman of Vijaya Dairy K Ranga Reddy, TDP senior leaders A Jayakumar Reddy, Haribabu Yadav and others were present.
