Wall paintings planned at junctions in Nellore

Nellore: Municipal Administration Minister P Narayana asked the officials to take measures to draw pictures on walls at important places that reflect culture and tradition of the district. He held a review meeting with the officials at the camp office here on Wednesday and said that important tourism destinations of the district have to be painted including bridges of the city to draw the attention of people.

The Minister said that these painting works have to be done at Atmakur Bus Stand Flyover, under bridge, Ramalingapuram under bridge, Magunta Layout under bridge, and Vijaya Mahal Gate under bridge. He said wall paintings are part of Andhra Culture and they have to be promoted.

The Minister observed pictures of Somasila Project, Pulicat Lake with flamingos and others on Wednesday. He also said that ghats are being constructed at Irukalala Parameswari Temple and also at Ranganatha Swamy temple and they had set deadline for constructing them by end of March.
