Vijayawada: BJP MLC PVN Madhav has said Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is scared of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s tour of Andhra Pradesh in the first week of January.

At a press meet at the party office here on Thursday, Madhav condemned the ‘unparliamentary’ language used by Naidu who said: ‘Is the PM coming to AP to see if the people of the state are dead or alive’.

The BJP recalled that Chandrababu had earlier used such unparliamentary words towards the Congress president, Rahul Gandhi.

He further said that the Naidu was misleading the people of the state by showing false and fake white papers to give an impression that the Modi government had not done anything for the state.

Madhav criticised that the CM forgot all the promises given to the farmers and said that every sector was in loss except agriculture. He recalled that once Naidu had opposed the Polavaram Project and now claims that the project was his life ambition.

BJP State Kisan Morcha president V Suryanarayana Raju said that state government had given false promises to all the farmers in the state by promising loans at 25 paise interest.
