Irregularities in e–auto tenders alleged in Vijayawada
Vijayawada: AP Electrical Vehicles Manufacturers Association State president K Hari Kishan alleged that irregularities took place in tenders of Electric Garbage e- Autos.
He spoke to the media persons here on Saturday and alleged that the government finalised the tender for the ineligible company.
He alleged that crores of rupees of bribe was given for the finalisation of the tenders.
He demanded that the government cancel the tender. He threatened the government to knock the door of the court, if it failed to cancel the tender.
Hari Kishan said that the government called tenders for 7,500 Electric garbage e- Autos and 7 companies participated.
The association member, KP Rao alleged that the e-tender announced by the government was not based on the Central motor vehicle rules and Automotive Industries standards.
Association secretary J Bhanu, treasurer V Ramakrishna and others were present.
