PRTU demands release of 35 pc IR in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: The Progressive Recognised Teachers Union (PRTU) AP Krishna district unit organised a meeting with 50 mandal presidents across the district at Press Club here on Sunday.

The chief guest of the meeting was PRTU state president B Appa Rao. 

Addressing the gathering, Appa Rao demanded that the government release 35 percent Interim Relief (IR) and DA in two phases as the 2019 elections were fast approaching.

PRTU Krishna district president D Srinu demanded that the government fill about 3,600 school assistant posts.

General secretary GVS Perumallu wanted to solve the problems faced by the teachers immediately.

A Srinivas Rao, along with 50 mandal presidents and others were present.
