Padarthi assumes charge as YSRCP city chief in Guntur

Guntur: Padarthi Ramesh Gandhi took charge as YSRCP Guntur city president at a programme held at Sri Venkateswara Vignan Mandiram in Guntur city on Sunday.

Speaking on this occasion, he said that he will try for the victory of the party candidates in the coming elections in Guntur city. 

He said that he will be more happy, if the party candidates win in Guntur west, Guntur east, Prattipatadu and Guntur Parliament constituency and assured that he will try to strengthen the party. 

YSRCP floor leader in the state Legislative Council Ummareddy Venkateswarulu said that TDP government booked 6800 false cases against YSRCP activists in the state during the last four-and-a-half years. 

He reminded that CAG report said that Rs 400 crore worth irregularities committed in the Polavaram Project construction. 

He alleged that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was doing politics with the government money and spending huge money on tours. 

Former minister Mopidevi Venkata Ramana, YSRCP Guntur Parliamentary constituency coordinator Kilaru Rosaiah, MLA Mustafa, former MLA Mekathoti Sucharita, party district president Lella Appi Reddy were among those participated.
