AP govt to provide free WiFi service

Amaravati: AP government is taking measures to bring free WiFi services in different cities in the state by 15th February. CM Chandrababu Naidu has promised to distribute free smartphones to every household so that common man would be able to get government services online.

Chief Secretary Anil Chandra Puneth said that in 970 locations in the 110 Municipalities of the state, AP government is planning to open the free WiFi centers.

AP government to planning to increase the connectivity of AP digital infra, AP fiber grid services through free WiFi centers in the cities. 

Google is partnering the government in opening the free WiFi centers in the state. In the future, with the intention of providing 5G services in the state government is providing free WiFi services.

The advanced technology will help the people in getting the government services very quickly. At present, many government offices are facing issues with internet service. By the free WiFi services, all the internet related issues will be resolved. 

Government offices, Banks, Business institutions can increase their transactions very effectively with free WiFi services.  With AP fibernet service, WiFi centers can be expanded to other locations so that common people can utilise the digital services with free of cost.
