Jagan promises quality care for kidney patients

Srikakulam: YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy assured quality medical treatment to kidney patients. As part of his Praja Sankalpa Yatra, Jaganmohan Reddy covered several villages in Kaviti mandal under Itchapuram Assembly constituency on Tuesday.

On the occasion, locals met him to explain their woes. When some kidney patients of several villages said that they were spending more than Rs 5,000 a month for treatment,  Jagan promised free and quality medical treatment to kidney patients and also Rs 10,000 monthly pension to each patient irrespective of their age. Members of Samantha caste also met the YSRCP president to seek a separate corporation for their caste in the state. He said he would set up a corporation if he comes to power. 

Meanwhile, TDP MLC Buddha Venkanna’s own brother and BC United Forum state president Buddha Nageswara Rao joined YSRCP in presence of Jaganmohan Reddy in Kaviti mandal. Auto drivers and employees of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) scheme explained their problems to him and asked his support to them for their better future.

Jagan covered 10.7 km distance on Tuesday which is 340th day of his yatra. He covered a total of 3,638.9 km till Tuesday evening. Jaganmohan Reddy will conclude his yatra at Itchapuram on Wednesday and party leaders are making arrangements for the grand success of the event. Jagan will visit Tirumala by foot on Thursday to have a darshan of Lord Venkateswara.
