DRI sleuths seize 3.3 kg gold in train, three held

Visakhapatnam : The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI)  officials checked a train at Visakhapatnam on January 4, which was travelling from Guwahati to Secunderabad (Train No. 12514)  and arrested two persons who were smuggling 3.3kg gold which is worth of Rs 1.08 crores of market value.

DRI sleuths also arrested the kingpin behind the smuggling. According to the DRI sources, the passengers were carrying gold concealed inside packets of the cotton banian worn by them.
