Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu travels by special train to Venkatachalam
Tirupati: The Vice-President of India M Venkaiah Naidu left for Venkatachalam in Nellore district from Renigunta railway station on Tuesday. He reached Tirupati Airport by a special aircraft and immediately reached Renigunta railway station to board a special train. He was received there by the Minister for Industries N Amaranatha Reddy on behalf of the State government.
Along with personal and security staff, Naidu took the special Air-Conditioned (A-C) train at platform number 5 and left for Venkatachalam amidst tight security. South Central Railway In-charge General Manager Kulshreshta, Guntakal DRM Vijay Prathap Singh, District Collector PS Pradyumna also received him.
Tirupati Urban SP KKN Anburajan, Municipal Corporation Commissioner V Vijay Rama Raju, Sub-Collector Dr Mahesh Kumar, CISF officials and others were present. The Vice-President will return to Renigunta railway station on Wednesday evening by the same train and leave for New Delhi from Tirupati Airport.
