Steel Executives Association of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited seeks pension, pay revision to staff
Visakhapatnam: The Steel Executives Association(SEA) of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) has been fighting for superannuation pension scheme and pay revision. It has been building up pressure on Steel Ministry and Prime Minister.
As there is not response from the government to their long pending issues, a delegation of the SEA including its president Ranganadh Bolisetti , general secretary Katam S S Chandra Rao and treasurer Ch Leela Srinivas met Steel Minister Birender Singh in the Parliament along with Rajya Sabha MP G V L Narasimha Rao.
During the presentation, SEA members demanded that superannuation pension scheme should be cleared by Ministry as RINL had already submitted the road map which was sought by ministry. The delegation also urged the minister to advice the NMDC to supply iron ore to RINL at reasonable margin basis for at least five years.
The delegation also met Visakhapatnam MP K Haribabu and urged him to put his efforts to solve their long pending demands. Both the MPs Haribabu and GVL Narasimha Rao requested the minister and informed that the demands of the SEA are genuine.
Responding to the SEA demands, the Steel Minister agreed to consider both demands and assured to discuss both issues with CMD, RINL and SAIL on January 10.
