YS Jaganmohan Reddy offers prayers at Tirumala

Tirupati: YSR Congress Party president and Opposition leader of AP Assembly  YS Jaganmohan Reddy offered prayers as common devotee  at   Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple, Tirumala on Thursday evening.  Soon after completing the Praja Sankalpa Yatra, covering 3,648 km, he made his first visit to Tirumala. 

Jaganmohan Reddy reached the hill shrine by walk.  He started walking from 1.20 p.m from Alipiri and reached Tirumala around 5 p.m covering a distance of 11.1 km. Before starting the walk to Tirumala, the Opposition leader offered prayers at Alipiri Padala Mandapam.  

He also visited   Galigopuram,  Seetha Ramaswamy temple and Anjaneya Swamy temple  in Alipiri path way and offered prayers there. During his walk, he cheered the other pilgrims along the pathway up to Tirumala.

Rajampeta former MP Mithun Reddy, Tirupati former MLA Bumana Karunakar Reddy, Chandragiri  MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy and Nagari MLA RK Roja and party men  in large numbers also walked to hill shrine along with Jaganmohan Reddy.  

Earlier,  YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was accorded a grand welcome by YSRCP  Chittoor district MLAs, leaders and followers at Renigunta Railway station in the morning at  10 a.m.  From there he has left to Tirupati by road in convoy and reached Tirupati Padmavathi guest house for taking rest for some time.  At 1.20 p.m. he reached Alipiri Padala Mandapam to start the walk to Tirumala via path way.

After having darshan Jaganmohan Reddy stayed in Sarada Peetam in Tirumala.  According to information,  after having the blessings from  Sarada Peetadipathi Sri  Swarupanandendra Swamy,  YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy will go to Pulivendula in the early hours on Friday.
