AP Geography provides useful info to competitive students
Visakhapatnam: Andhra University PG Board of Studies and Dean of Examinations, Chairman, Prof D Pulla Rao on Friday stressed the importance of bringing informative books on truncated Andhra Pradesh.
Releasing the book ‘Andhra Pradesh Geography’ authored by Dr Devara Ramana, Prof Pulla Rao said that after the bifurcation of the state, there was a strong need to bring exclusive books on AP highlighting the state’s resources to the present generation.
Addressing the meeting, Rao said the author has brought the book at a right time as several competitive examination notifications were released by both the State and Central governments. The book has two parts, AP geography and integrated information on AP districts. The author prepared the book in a competitive view point and helps the students to crack the examinations with ease, he stated.
G Satish Kumar, S Lakshminarayana and M Venkateswara Naidu also spoke. On the occasion, Dr Devera Raman said the book was prepared with the support of senior professors of various universities and based on the APPSC’s new syllabus.
The book was very useful to the aspirants of UPSC, APPSC, DSC, sub-inspectors, junior lecturers and degree lecturer competitive examinations. He thanked the Sunrise Publications for publishing the book.
