Steel plant would be constructed in time bound manner - Minister
Kadapa: Exuding confidence over completion of Steel Plant in the district, marketing minister c.Adinarayana Reddy urged th people not to believe apprehensions as government is keen on completing the steel plant in a time bound manner.
The minister along with Rayala Seema Steel Corporation (RSSC) chief managing director Madhusudhana Rao visited site where the chief minister N.chandra Babu naidu laid foundation for steel plant M.Kambala Dinne village on Saturday. He said that the district administration has proposed to acquired total 4,200 acres of land for the purpose as already 3,200 of assign land was already notified exercise is going on for securing 1,000 acres private land in the village. He said that government is planning to hold talks with the farmers over the issue by making alternative arrangements.
He said as per the regulations specified in the AP reorganizing act central government has to issue some crucial permissions like for mining, rail connectivity etc which are coming under the purview of union government. He said if central fails to ignore the support, state government will form Legal Advisory Committee and approach Supreme court over the issue.
The minister urged the CM to urged the steps for completion of project by executing ne agency like implementing construction of Amaravathi. RSSC CMd Madhu Sudhana Rao said that government has intensified efforts for executing one agency for in view of completing the steel plant as early as possible. The RSSC CMD has indicated that negotiations are under progress with one China based agency to pursue the works. Jammalamadugu Tahasildar Sheik Mohaddin and others were present.
