National Investigation Agency shifts Jagan attacker to Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Officials of National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Sunday night brought the accused Srinivasa Rao, who attacked YSR Congress Party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy in Visakhapatnam on October 25, to Hyderabad.

After doing crime scene reconstruction at Visakapatnam Airport, the NIA officials immediately moved along with Srinivas to Hyderabad in an Air India flight and from there, amidst tight security, shifted him to NIA office at Madhapur. The information on shifting of Srinivasa Rao was conveyed to his advocate Saleem by the NIA officials. 

According to them, they are going to interrogate him for the next four days in their office in the presence of his advocate Saleem, as directed by the court. After completion of the interrogation, the NIA officials will produce him before the Vijayawada court.
