CPI faults YSRCP chief for aligning with TRS
Anantapur: CPI district secretary D Jagadish has flayed YSRCP President Jaganmohan Reddy for aligning with Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao with the sole objective of antagonising Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, Jagadish said that Jaganmohan's decision is detrimental to Andhra Pradesh interests. He said it is unethical to align with a party that is responsible for the bifurcation of united AP.
Forging tie-up with KCR amounts to aligning with BJP and Narendra Modi. The CPI leader said that there is every need to strengthen the non-BJP forces and not neutralise the non-BJP forces.
YSRCP chief contention that AP with 25 MP seats and Telangana State with 17 MP seats can bring Special Category Status (SCS) to AP is wrong as all AP MPs had not united to achieve SCS. Jagadish decried Jaganmohan for trying to settle political scores leaving ideology to the winds. The Federal Front should not neutralise the anti-BJP forces, he stated.
