Kanna Lakshminarayana offers prayers at Gandi Kshetram

Kadapa: BJP State President Kanna Lakshminarayana has visited the Veeranjaneya Swamy temple at Gandi Kshetram in Vempalle mandal on Thursday evening and offered prayers to presiding deity.

Addressing the media, the BJP chief said that the tour of BJP President Amit Shah has been cancelled as he was admitted in the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) due to swine flu.

Kanna mentioned that instead of Amit Shah, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and BJP General Secretary Ram Madhav would be attending the party meeting to be held at Kandula Estate in Kadapa on Friday. He said important BJP leaders in the Rayalaseema region would be attending the meeting to discuss the action plan for the upcoming elections.
