Blood donation, Annadanam mark NTR vardhanti

Vijayawada: Floral tributes were paid to the former Chief Minister and TDP founder NT Rama Rao on his 23rd death anniversary here on Friday.

TDP leaders, workers and admirers observed the death anniversary of their beloved leader at the city party office. 

A blood donation camp was organised and many people took part in it. Annadanam was also organised and food was distributed. 

MLC Buddha Venkanna, Mayor Koneru Sridhar, Deputy Mayor G Ramana, senior party leaders Nagul Meera, K Pattabhiram and others participated in the event. 

Addressing the media on the occasion, Venkanna said that TDP was formed by NTR to protect the self-respect of the Andhra people and though NTR was not physically present, he remains in their hearts, thoughts and deeds.
