Secondary Grade Teacher candidates protest in front of exam centre

Tirupati: Secondary Grade Teacher (SGT) candidates have staged a protest at an online exam centre near Cherlopalli in Tirupati Rural mandal on Friday, as police and officials did not allow them inside the exam centre for arriving few minutes late. Even, officials denied entry into exam centre for some candidates for not carrying original Aadhaar cards with them.

According to information, around 65 candidates were not allowed inside the exam centre and they have lost their chance to write the SGT exam. It has led to heated arguments between police and candidates. A police official said that they are following directions of the Education department.
