16 kg ganja seized at Tirupati railway station

Tirupati: The government railway police (GRP) sleuths have seized Rs.1.60 lakh worth of ganja at Tirupati railway station on Tuesday. When they suspected the movements of a person K Surendran of Teni district in Tamil Nadu and took him into custody with the help of RPF sleuths.
They found eight bundles of ganja packets which weigh 16 kgs which he reportedly bought for Rs.2000 to sell them in Madurai and was waiting to catch Rameswaram express. GRP CI Aseervadam and his staff presented the accused before Tahsildar and arrested him. RPF CI Saidaiah was also prese.
