Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh Tourism Department has now reached Switzerland crossing continents across the globe to bring global recognition to Telugu flavours. The Andhra food stall was set up at Andhra Pradesh pavilion at World Economic Forum’s meet in Davos and it got appreciation from participants of various countries.
Himanshu Shukla, CEO of Andhra Pradesh Tourism Authority, says, "Andhra food is not only delicious but healthy. We are trying to preserve the AP's traditional and cultural legacy through conducting events, festivals and food festivals. Andhra cuisine is famous and tourists coming to Andhra are keen to know about the delicious authentic food of Andhra rather than others."
Tourism and Cultural Affairs secretary Mukesh Kumar Meena says, "With the idea of introducing innovative and domestic tourism, we are committed to organising programmes at international level. While gourmets are welcome with a variety of delicacies around the world, Andhra Pradesh cuisines are different in terms of nutritional value.
